: Hi,

: Im hoping someone is going through the same experience I am--or went through the same ROLLERCOSTER ride I am going through now.....I am 5 weeks pregnant. My HCG is great, it keeps rising normally. Last week it was 6,450 and today at 9am it is 30,200! -----But here is the concern/problem, My PROGESTERONE is only 4.0! They want to give me progesterone injections to carry this baby full term. But, if my body will miscarry without the injections, doesnt this tell me that something is already wrond with the pregnancy, or that there are abnormalites??

: Please help if you know of someone or had this same experience, I would love to hear what happened.

Dear Jen,

I am going through the exact right now, and with my second child. I had the shots with my second baby, and I thank God every day that they had them. I now have a very healthy one year old. She is a blessing. Right now they have me on a drug called Prometrium. It is some what like the shot, but it is 2 pills. I will be praying for you. I really know how scary it is. I would get a second doctors opinion on what they think about it. Better to be safe, for you and your baby. Take care.
