My baby was born with an imperforated anus, an un-opened nasel passage and a fisure in his urethea. I just read an article by a HealthScout reporter that states that pregnant women should be careful regarding the skin care products that they used.
Although I have been seeing a geneticist we gave not been able track down the cause of his defects. But the article jogged my memory that I had visited a dermatoligist during the first trimester of my pregnancy and received a facial and some topical products to use to even out my skin tone. I did mention that I was pregnant and the Dr. told me to use one of the topical creams twice per week instead of daily as origionally subscribed. I am trying to get more info. on skin care products that may cause pregnancy dificulties. This is my first baby and it is very diffult to have the possibility of having other children with further defects.
Does anyone out there have any info. or have read any articles on prenancy complications from skin care products.
