I also understand your feelings for wanting this baby. As women we sometimes have a overwhelming desire for animals and children. I'm not knocking your choice to have a baby for you to give all this love to, I'll just leave you with this one thought.
A friend of mine did the very same thing you are about to attempt, it has been 15 years since that baby boy has been born and now she wishes that the boy had a father. Of course she provides for her child and loves her child dearly but the need to have someone to love only you can backfire.
I also wanted a child without the support of the baby's father and God stopped me each time I attempted to do so. Pray Amy before you decide to make this step and wait for God's answer.
