: I am about 3 wks gestational time pregnant and my b/f does not want the baby. he doesn't want children of his own. We are both in our 30's and not financially in the greatest place. We have already agreed to abortion. But this is not what i want, i want to have the baby. we have only been together about a month. We were using condoms and it broke. Not great. we didn't plan on this happening and it did. i know it's not the greatest time to have a child either, but i do not want to have an abortion either. and i could not bear to go through a prenancy and give it up either. i just can't handle this anymore. i am utterly confused and depressed. i want to be with him, i care for him deeply and would not have a child without him involved, but if i force him to do this we will both be unhappy, but i don't think i could be any unhappier than i am thinking about abortion. i need some sound advice
I am a teenager I don't know if you mind me giving you advice even though I am half as young as you. Well anyways I don't thinks you should have an abortion. How can you put a man before a baby? I don't thinks you should have one especially if you don't want to, you have to think of what you want. From what I read many women who have abortions regret it and have psychological problems later. LIke you said you only known him a month maybe in another month he will go and look for someone else even if you had the abortion or not. So don't do it so he can stay with you. I think you should have your baby there are many women that would love to have babies but they can't.
