: I'm not sure that I have low progesterone, but my basal body temperatures are aweful close to my coverline.....and I am worried... I usually have AF type cramps about a week or more before my period, but this cycle I haven't had any cramping at all. Kinda strange..... I wonder if I have conceived after 8 years of trying! But I am concerned about my progesterone, is there anything I can take, vitamins, herbs, etc, that would help with low progesterone?

Dear Beth,
I also have low progesterone levels. But I carried my second child to 39 weeks and I am pregnant with my 3rd. They doctor put me on a shot the first time, and now I am on Prometrium pills 400 mgs. You might want to talk to your doctor about your concerns. They do have presriptions for it. I wish you the best, and Good luck.
