Can someone please tell me what is safe as far as calcium supplements go? I had been having trouble with milk so I haven't had any in a few months. Instead I was taking 2-4 Calcium fortified tums every day, and just recently started taking a calcium-magnesium pill every day that also has vitamin D. Is that safe to take as well as my prenatal vitamin, which also includes all that? Is it bad to have too much?
I would appreciate any input, by the way I am now 29 weeks along.
