does this sound weird? please answer!!!

i am 14 weeks pregnant and i went to my first appointment yesterday, when the dr was doing my pelvic exam, he was having a lot of trouble finding my cervix. this was very painful, and he told me it was because my cervix was behind my uterus. he said not to worry about it cuz thats the way god made me, but i am still scared, has anyone ever expierenced this before and did it complicate your pregnancy or childbirth? any help is greatly appreciated!!!!
