When you see the OB, you can voice your concern about possible twins. If a HCG test is drawn, it usually shows an elevated level for that time in your pregnancy. Secondly, they say that if this is a second or greater pregnancy, the stomach shows quicker than the first time, due to the laxity of the muscles in the area from the first one, even it if was 10 years ago. Lastly, an ultrasound can be performed, but there's no guarantee that the angle will be conducive to seeing two fetuses, (one behind the other for example).
