Check out the message board at http://www. docnet.org.uk/wwwboard/messages/122.html It has been very helpful to myself and many others with GA!!: MY DAUGHTER WAS DXED WITH GRANULOMA ANNULARE AT AGE 5 AND WE WERE TOLD THAT IT WOULD GO AWAY ON IT'S OWN WITHIN 2 YEARS. WELL 13 YEARS LATER SHE STILL HAS IT AN IT HAS ONLY WORSENED OVER THE YEARS. NOW A FEW DAYS FROM BEING 18 IT REALLY BOTHERS HER TO THE POINT SHE HAS SAID THAT SHE JUST WANTS TO CUT HER SKIN OFF. SHE HAS TO EXPLAIN TO NEW FRIENDS THAT IT IS NOT CONTAGIOUS. WHAT WAS ONCE JUST ON HER FEET AND ANKLES IS NOW ON HER KNEES, THIGHS, FINGERS, HANDS, ELBOW AND ARMS. IT HAS BECOME A NIGHTMARE FOR HER AND THIS SURE HAS BEEN AN AWFUL LONG 2 YEARS. ANY INFO WOULD BE APPRECIATED.
