: I think I am having withdrawls from stopping my medication. I have been weened off and increased my welburton. I have sever light headedness, weird dreams, can't focus, feeling sick. I had to stop the Effexor because of night sweats, light headed and weakness. Are theese withdrawel symptoms normal.

Nancy,

You didn't state weather you stopped the medicine or if your doctor advised it. One should never stop medications except under doctors orders. My doctor started me on 75Mg of Effexor XR daily. After a couple months he doubled my dosage. One capsule in morn and one in eve. After the increase I too had night sweats for a time but they eventually went away .Withdrawal symptoms from powerful drugs is a normal reaction.
