My sister-in-law was just diagnosed with TTP. She has started the plasma exchange, but must be sedated with morphine almost constantly because she becomes violent. She has 3 small blood clots either in or near her brain. Has anyone else with this disease had the same experience? Should we be concerned that she is violent when not on morphine?
Thanks to all in advance who reply - your information and suggestions are very much appreciated.
