Dear all,
my name is andy and I have a problem regarding my body's temperature regulation. A couple of years ago I developed a problem whereby the slightest raising of room temperature would cause me to overheat and sweat profusely, and the slightest lowering of room temperature would make my hands and feet extremely cold (and painful). My doctor says my circulation is fine and that the problem appears to be that the body's "thermostat" is malfunctioning and reacts wildly to slight variations in temperature (my "comfort" zone is around 18-24 deg C).Has anybody ever heard of this problem and does it have a medical name? Also, is there a treatment for the condition?
kind regards
andy parker
