: Anyone who has a child with PFAPA syndrome (also known as Periodic Fever Syndrome), PLEASE contact me, maybe we can lend support to each other!! Lana
Our 5 year old daughter has just been diagnosed with PFAPA. She has been having fevers of 105 F for four years about every 2 months. She just got another fever so we are going to treat her for the first time for PFAPA. Other than motrin, advil, and tylenol we have had no luck with treatments. She has had every blood test imaginable and is now old enough to resist additional tests with great will. We hope your child is well. Have you had any luck with treatments ? We understand she will get a dose of prednisone. We are anxious for the Dr's office to open Monday morning.
