My nephew has been having episodes of blue skin on his face, neck and shoulder. His hemoglobin tests, blood oxygen levels, and chest x-ray were normal. A rheumatologist could find nothing wrong. A cardiologist and an oncologist also found nothing wrong. He has no other symptoms. He seems to be more blue in the morning, but it does not disappear. It just improves to the point of blue patches in the sideburn area and around eyes and nose. Does anyone have any information that might help us find a diagnosis?
