hi this is lois. sorry to hear about your grandmother. judy, my sister-in-law is doing much better. she had her gallbladder removed and has been doing good this far. i have not heard that this is hereditary. i really don't see how they could say it is when they don't sem to have a clue where it comes from. i have been in touch with some of the other people on here that have ttp and they all say the saaaame thing,no one can tell them what causes this. where are you from?
