: Hi! I only found this site a few moments ago. : I live in England and today the bottom has fallen out : of my world,I've been diagnosed with RSD today. : It started with osteoarthritis in both knees and I've : suffered from pain for so long. : Even though it is quite cold in England at present : I seem to sweat+++++++, my face seems permanently : red and burns,I find it hard to sleep and nothing : seems to help. : I've cried most of today as my doctor has told me : about the progession of this disease. : I cannot take it in or believe it. : Did anyone else feel the same or am I being selfish? Hi Tina, no you are not selfish. Rsds is very hard to live with, I have had it for over 2 years now and I have my ups and downs I live off of pericets, which is a bad drug. I have had 11 blocks and the only thing they did was stop my arm from turning blue. e-mail me at kirsteen@idmail.com. I have found a real good chat room which people can talk about this. We e-mail each other alot and they try to put together trips too. I myself have not been able to go any Just remember the pain is real, it is not all in your mind. You have to try and stay possitive for the pain can get worse when you in to a depression. Take care and look forward to chatting with you.
