I've had RSD and a Volkmans contracture since 1989, I fell and broke my wrist. The Air Force Dr. that treated the break put a cast on too tight and I lost circulation in my lower arm... Well 11 years and many procedures[ Nerve blocks] latter I'm still here...
I've been out of the service since 1991 { Medical Discharge}and now work as an Ed. Tech for the US Dept. of Veterans Affairs.

My Veterans Affairs Dr. is giving me Botox injections that has helped allot with the spasms. If your suffering from spasms talk to your Dr., but be warned the injections hurt real bad so you may want to bring a stick to bite on...:-)

As far as RSD is concerned I think I'm pretty knowledgeable, so feel free to shoot some questions my way... Maybe it would help me by helping someone else in the same boat??

My big problem is depression :-( I'm 34 years old and feel 90. If you've been there maybe you could have something to offer in a suggestion???

I hope to hear from you.... By the way I started out on webtv
:-)
