: : I have a 21 year old daughter who has had RSD for the past 2 years in her left ankle. She has had over 40 epidurals, radio frequency, and a stumulator implanted in her left thigh. The epidurals no longer work and the stimulator stopped working for her after two months. The pain of the surgery was not worth the results. She is now faced with two options. A morphine pump, or the SIMPL treatment plan offered by the Pain Alleviation Center in NY. (subcutanious infusion of lidocane). Does anyone have experience with these????? : I have a 23 year old daughter with basically same problem for 9 years. We are just hearing about the lidocaine, have you had this done yet? Please reply. Thanks I have a SyncroMed (morphine)pump. It was implanted March of '99. The meds delivered through mine are morphine and lidocane. Opting to have this device implanted has changed my life, for the better, beyond belief. I would be more than happy to answer any questions you might have. Dave
