RSD in my wife' arm and hand

My wife was recently diagnosed with RSD in her right arm after a fall which broke her elbow. The breaks have healed well, however, after going to physical therapy for RSD, her shoulder and elbow are still sore and siff. What is really bothering her is her fingers. She can bend her fingers forward allright, but the knuckles and fingers are as stiff as a board when she tries to bend them back (for cleaning, applying makeup, etc.) Does anyone have exercises or something she can do to regain this movement?
