Has anyone out there had a TKR and afterward still had
pain? I had one two years ago, I was 52 at the time and I have had pain every since. I was told at the time
of the surgery that I would not be able to exercise and
run anymore, but I would not experience the pain. I had the surgery done in CA and moved to VA where I saw an Orthopod who told me I had all of the symptoms of RSD. Please let me know if someone else out there has had this done and has been diagnosed with this illness.
My other knee is starting to give on me and I don't think I want to have the surgery done, if I am going to have the same problem after surgery. Thanks for your help in advance. I am going to a rheum doc and experiencing some relieve with pain killers and anti-inflammatory and cortozone when he sees fit, but I sure don't like taking the meds all of the time. Thanks again, Shary
