: I have RLS, I have also had a heart attack and take Vit E 1000 mg late every evening along with Vit C and Aspirin. The Vit E has not helped the RLS at all. There are three things which sometimes bring a measure of relief: very warm tub soaks, stretching exercises for the achiles tendon, and Extra Strength Tylenol. The Es Tylenol works for about three hours, and works better than the other two. Sometimes I do all three before I get any sleep. My doctor seems to think RLS is just something you live with. (That is probably because it is I who has it and not him) If you are up and can't sleep, come to my web site and read my humorous poems. That is generally when I write them. Humor at least helps distract.
Hi,Joyce,Sorry that the Vitamin E doesn't help your RLS.It would be great if the same stuff would help everyone, then we would all know what to do.Hang in there.I will visit your site. Thanks,Janie
