: MY GRANMOTHER HAS RLS AND HAS SUFFERED WITH IT TERRIBLY UNTIL SHE WENT A NEUROLGIST AND HE PRESCRIBED SINEMET 25MG. HE WAS THE ONLY DR THAT KNEW WHAT SHE WAS SUFFERING FROM. SINEMET HELPS THE NERVOUS SYSTEM . MY GRANDMOTHER HAS BEEN ABLE TO SLEEP THRU THE NIGHT FOR 2 MONTHS. NO MORE HOT SOAKS AT 3AM, WHICH I AM SURE A LOT OF YOU CAN RELATE TO
Sinemet worked fine for me for several month until I had a rebound. It would suppresss the rls for a few hours and then it would come back much worse. I am on mirapex now with excellent results and no rebound. If the sinemet is working for you you will want to stay with it. However if rebound occurs mirapex may be the answer to that.best wishes.
