: My doctor also told me about tonic water. The only problem is.....I CANNOT STAND THE TASTE!! I am diabetic, so I have to drink the diet kind. Any ideas on making the taste tolerable? Also, if quinine is available in pill form, have you tried it, and is it as effective as you think the tonic water is? I'm at the end of my rope here.....ready to try anything!!! Thanks for posting about the tonic water. It makes me want to try it even more...even if I CAN'T stand the taste!!!
: Dana in Arizona.
Yes I take the quinine pills [as well as some others} for severe leg cramps. It will probably be more effective because you are getting the concentrated dose not just the small amount in the water.
