I am 30 years old and have suffered from RLS since the birth of my son 9 years ago. My Mom also suffers from it. After seeing several doctors and trying several different meds, I have learned some secrets of getting a good night sleep, sitting through a movie, a car ride andso on and on..I am taking Mirapex along with Lorcet at bedtime and on occasion have to have it during the day. I also have it in my arms. I only hope my children do not inherit this nightmare. The things that I have found to aggrivate me are...caffeine, tylenol, alcohol, benedryl...I stay away from new medications because so many seem to aggrivate the problem and I wouldn't wish it on anyone!!!!!
