I have suffered from RLS for many years. At first I thought I was crazy and thought I just had nervous legs. Finally they got so bad I couldn't sleep and never went to movies as I couldn't sit still We moved and I finally found doctor who said I had RLS. We tried Clonazepam at night, which worked for a while. Then on to Carbidopa which also worked for a while. Then my doctor sent me to a neuralogist. He started me on a mild dosage of Mirapex which also worked FOR A WHILE. Now he has increased the Mirapex 0.5 mg to three a day and I still take one Clonazepam with a Mirapex at night. I am sleeping better and can ride in the car and sit through Mass. I only hope it continues to work as I have a lot of traveling to do this summer . RLS is a terrible thing to have not only because it nervousness, pain and sleeplesness, but a lot of people just don't understand that you really can't help moving your legs. Let's hope this works and God bless you all who are suffering with RLS.
