: I've noticed that many of you who experience RLS also have issues with brain chemistry.. I went through a short period of depression and during this time I experienced RLS. I began taking Prozac briefly to treat the depression, during which I did not experience RLS at all. Now that I no longer feel I need the Prozac and have completely quit taking it, I am again having restless legs. In addition, when tested I was told I have an unusually high Creatinine level, signalling a possible kidney disfunction. I fear these irregularities may have a common cause. Does anyone have a similar situation??
I haven't had any of what you describe - but have wondered if anyone had done any research on characteristics that people with RLS might have in common. Are you aware of any studies?
