I haven't seen a doctor, but the leg symptoms I have sound just like RLS. I HAVE to tense my leg muscles in the evenings; it's not controllable. Occasionally, I have the same sensation in my arms too. It's not painful, but I absolutely CANNOT control the urge to tense up my arms and legs. It's not every night though, but probably three or four nights a week.
