I am only 39 but my Mother and Great Grandfather suffer from restless leg syndrom. My mother didn't have real problems until she reached her 50's. I believe I am showing early signs of the disease. I go to bed most nights taking motrin or tylanol PM because I am restless. I wake up most nights around midnight restless again. I somtimes take another dose of motrin or just wait a few hours and finally fall back to sleep.
At what point do I seek help. My main concern right now is broken sleep pattern. It makes my day difficult sometimes. I want to take a nap or go to bed early.
Any one out there seek help early on or wait until the signs are really promanant?
