: : I seem to have this "restless leg syndrom" and do not know what to do about it. Does anyone have any ideas? I would greatly appreciate it...
: RE:Please go see a doctor He can prescribe medicine that will at the least let you fall asleep and slow down the muscle movements.
I have RLS in addition to being a dialysis pt. I take Klonapin, Carb/Levo, Vicodine. The Klonapin is for the sharp pains that shoot up from the back of my heal through my calves up into the groin area. It helps lesson the pain, but causes the pain to be twice as bd 24hrs later, and Carb/Levo allows me to be able to go places without feeling like I have to get up and walk around constantly. It's nice to be able to sit through a dinner in a nice resturant with my girlfriend and not have to walk to the mens room three times or have my calves getting so ancy that they actually start to spasm. The Vicodine is the only thing I found to get me to sleep. I pretty much knock my self out to get some sleep. Maby you could ask about these Meds with your Doctor. I hope I have helped. I know and hate the frustration. Being frustrated so bad you wish you could cut you legs off. Or that from the waist up your so tired you could sleep through an earthquake, but your legs want to do the "Midnight to four o'clock marathon through a dark house" Good luck on finding something that works. If you do find something that works better then these, and their pretty good. Please let me know. Thanks -Darrin
