: I'm 59 and I've been experiencing something I never had before for the last 6-9 months. I will just about get asleep, and my leg will twitch. Usually the left leg, sometimes the right. I've always had trouble getting to sleep, and am a light sleeper, so this usually wakes me up. After a while I fall asleep, but some nights (not all) it is quite bad and lasts for a long time. I don't have any "feelings" when this happens; my leg just twitches. I don't have it during the day, unless I try to take a nap. I tried folic acid for awhile (someone suggested that), then a B6-folic acid combo vitamin, and these seemed to help for awhile, but not much anymore. Does this sound like RLS? Again, I don't have any problems when awake, and no strange feelings when it happens. It only happens just when I finally let go and am almost asleep. I would appreciate any responses. Thanks, Phil

I was diagnosed with RLS , I get the twiching but also I get a pain in one leg that it is not localizad is just a general uneasiness and I get it only after I been in bed for a few minutes, if I get up and walk the pain goes away
