I was originally diagnosed with sciatica, but after researching, I think I probably have RLS. My problems usually are at night. I can't lie on my back or even sit for long periods of time before the nagging aching in my leg(s) starts. I can relate to those who say it drives them crazy. Even thinking about it drives me nuts!! I use Calcet that my husband got for me. It seems to help. I have tied things around my legs at night to relieve the pressure. Massaging only works at that moment. Sometimes I get up and just walk around or hop on the hurting leg. It usually lets up or stops hurting at altogether if I lie on my stomach. Cortisone shots help, of course, too. I've started working out lately hoping this will help it. Anyway, glad to see there are others who can relate, but I wish we all could get permanent relief!
