: : I want to bottlefeed my child so that I can start back on my prescription medicine for my RLS. I breast fed my first child (so in turn was not taking anything for the RLS pain) and I quickly learned that the lack of sleep caused by a combination of both breastfeeding AND my RLS was just too much for me to handle. It is hard enough being sleep deprived because of a newborns sleep habits, but when you are ALSO losing sleep because it takes you between two and four hours to fall asleep each night, well that intensifies the problem. NO one seems to understand WHY I am considering bottlefeeding my child, and just how much pain I am in! Everyone is making me out to be a selfish person for not putting my babies needs first. The way I see it, if I am sleeping better, or lets say AT ALL, then I in turn will be a better Mother and Wife! Right? I mean, I am not thinking of just myself, I am taking the whole family into consideration. Yet, unfortunately everyone is making me feel really guilty about choosing to not breast feed, and I in turn am feeling guilt also. How can I put this whole thing in perspective and make everyone understand the seriousness of my condition, and my decision to bottle feed and why?
