I have had genital warts for about a year and a half. I was 17 when I contracted them. I was very scared and didn't know what to do either. You can go to a health clinic without them telling your parents. The only thing is that you have to come up with the money yourself. If you do have genital warts, then don't be too concerned because they eventually disappear. You still have the virus in your body after they disappear though, so you can spread them to other people. Genital wart outbreaks occur more often with stress also. If you are worried about them, then they will break out. I read up on this becase I noticed that when I finally stopped worrying about them, then they disappeared. The only thing I can tell you is to see a doctor at a clinic, and if you have genital warts, then just accept it. It really isn't as horrible as you think after you finally accept that you have this. There is a large population in the world that is infected with warts--more than you would ever think. This could be something else also. It isn't abnormal for males to have bumps. As far as treatement goes for genital warts, they usually disappear on their own, but you can have them burned off, or freezed off. I have had one burned off and it was very painful. Also remember that if you have warts and have sex with someone else with warts, then you can break out again. I hope that I could help you out.
: I am only 15 and am worried that I have genital warts. I have many small white 'warts' under the surface of my skin on both my testes and my penis! I am too afraid to tell my parents and have kept this secret with me for as long as I can remember. I am too young to see a doctor and I am getting very worried about my condition as there is no cure. If any one has any information about treatment please don't hesitate to contact me.
