sexual transmitted diseases

It seems that kids my age (14) don't understand
the effects sex can have on their lives and possibly on
a new life that may enter the world. Kids are doing things
like sex and drugs for the wrong reasons. "it's cool"
is the phrase i hear the most but it's the opposite "stupid"
It's hard to just sit by and watch friends and other
people you know through their lives away because of a
stupid choice they made. I admire some people's aditude
towards keeping kids headed down the right road. I never
have thought of having sex at my age and will never do drugs
because i have lost a family member to lung canser and
my mothers friend is dying of aids. When people you know
are involved you see the whole picture and i thank people
for giving the opertunity for young people to see
the whole picture and not only their picture perfect
world they have created.
