My crazy ex-girlfriend gave me molluscum (although that's another story) Molluscum can be mistake for other things because generally they don't itch and may not even be noticeable...I'm not sure how long I had it until I noticed it. They are very very contagious...and it took several weeks of visits to the dermatologists, while she froze them off. A few of them reappeared and the whole thing was like a 2 1/2 month process. It was unenjoyable to say the least...there is some minor scarring on my pelvic area and the base of my penis,,but it's mostly unnoticeable.
