i have been told that an easy home treatment for molluscum bumps (as opposed to going to the doctor and having him apply liquid nitro or trichloractic acid) is to pop them, get out the waxy clear stuff inside, and apply some hydrogen peroxide as a disinfectant. is this true, and is it a feasible treatment? if so, should the bumps be popped using your fingers or with a sterilized needle? and with the popping, is there any danger of spreading the infection? in advance for any help.
