Several years ago, I noticed a pus-like discharge from my penis and mild discomfort (not pain) at the tip of the urethra after engaging in unprotected anal sex. I was tested for gonnorhea and chlamydia and treated with antibiotics. However, when the tests came back, they were negative. Now three years later, the same symptoms occurred the next morning after unprotected anal sex with a lover. Considering that the first time the tests were negative, is it possible that this is a UTI and not a classical STD? Could these symptoms occur just from getting bacteria from the anus into the urethra?
