The latest: visited clinic in diff part of city, saw another Dr. He agrees that the previous rash was jock itch (he also has seen hundreds of cases of both jock itch and clams and says I definitely had jock itch - yay!), he also examined for pubic lice (ie. crabs) with magnifying glass and found neither lice nor nits (eggs). He used acid to burn off the wartish papule that originated my concern and seemed to herald the rash outbreak (b/c it appeared about one week beforehand). As a precaution he has instructed me to purchase a product called NIX (lindane???) and to apply it tomorrow night (sole reason being the tell-tale pinhead blood spots that usually signify clams).

Not much activity on this board - has turned into a journal for me. Hopefully my notes will prove useful to someone else. Would love feedback on whether my Drs appear to be on the right track.

===========
: I've been getting tiny red flecks inside my underwear (on both sides of scrotum but not directly underneath) for several days. There are approx 35-50 tiny flecks left on either side, the flecks range in size from tip of straight pin, to butt of typical straight pin.

: Also, a couple of weeks ago I had tiny red pimples that itched on the inside of my thigh -- my Doctor positively identified them (visually only) as "nothing more than jock itch - I've seen hundreds of cases, and that's exactly what that is". A couple of days prior to the jock itch outbreak, I found two tiny flesh-colored warts (size of butt of typical straight pin) on the inside of my thigh. After application of an antifungal cream (Lamisil: Terbinafine hydrochloride 1%) the itchy pimples vanished but the wartish thing remains. The entire pubic area now itches, though, but not fiercely (I'm wondering if itching is caused by stress - I AM under huge amounts of stress right now).

: Does this sound like anything you've seen before? Should I ask my Doctor for any test in particular?

: Thanks,
: UO
