14 years ago I contracted Condylomata (genetal warts) from my husband. He had been cheatting on me while I was pregnate with our son. I contacted my Dotcor & had them removed imeditaly. Just to vent he had tried to place the blame on me cause I had had a few partners before him. He clamed "Your my first." We divorced 7 months after our sons birth. Due to other problems. ANYWAY.......I have a male friend & he just found out(& has been treated) he has\had HPV. We have talked a lot bout HPV\Genetal warts. He's shared with me that its a virus & doesnt ever go away & it can go into his DNA. So my question is Condylomata(what I was told I had\have 14 years ago) & HPV(what he has\had) the same disease? Both share the same nickname "Genetal warts." Anyone know of any web site or know from experance what or if there's a difference between the to std's? Thanks, Becca
