Actually, disregard what "unknown" has said. Genital warts are contagious. The least contagious point is the period after you get the warts removed. During the pre-symptom stage and when you actually have warts are the most contagious, so you can still give them if you haven't showed signs or currently have them. Oral warts are VERY rare, but they can happen. Chances are any partners you may have in the future won't get them (personally I think you have nothing to worry about if it's been 4 years and no break out since), but there's risk involved with everything you do. Since you've been treated already (right?) and it was ages ago, I doubt you should worry. Even so, be careful and always use a condom (until marriage or when you've known the person long enough and you're on the pill...you know this stuff I'm sure). Anyway, just use your better judgement and feel confident that chances are your partner won't get oral warts. That's actually the least of your worries. So have a happy, healthy, SAFE sex life! :)

: I have a new boyfriend and I was wondering if anyone could tell me how risky oral sex is? I was diagnosed with genital warts about 4 years ago and have NO symptoms at all. The dr said it was the most mild case she had ever seen. I have had intercourse with other partners in the past and they have never contracted the disease but I have no had oral sex since being diagnosed. If anyone has any info at all I would greatly appreciate it!
