bump on outer left vaginal lip

hey, the other day i woke up with a bump on my left vaginal lip....it appears that it could be a pimple, or an ingrown hair, i shave down there pretty regularly. i don't though and am kind of scared because i've never had any sort of bump there before....it doesn't sting, though the first two days (Today is the third day) it felt a little bit uncomfortable like a pimple would that is under the skin, but this is on top not underneath, anyways, my partner is clean he's been checked out, and I am too, so I don't know what to do. Is there anything you can suggest before going to get a check up. IF it's still here after a week I will get a check up.
