I've used this product for years. Yes, it is irritating when you use it. However, the benefit of not having big wet-spots on my clothes FAR outweighs the prickly sensation when I use it. I've found that when I do it, I'll either take Tylenol PM or something that will help me sleep. There will be times that you will not sleep if you're not REALLY tired and apply the solution.
Another thing. If you shave your armpits, do NOT put the drysol on freshly-shaven skin. It will tingle/prick you sillly and you will NOT sleep. Instead, shave and shower a couple of hours before application. Also, make sure the skin is clean from deodorants/antiperspirants. If you don't the Drysol will not be as effective. Clean/dry/smooth is best, but you'll figure this out.
