: Hi. I have permed hair that turns frizzy after drying. I want the "ringlet" look. I have tried
: a hair serum, which seems to be the best but it makes my hair look greasy! Would
: like to hear some ideas that have worked for someone else. Also, I just bought the
: Pantene Hydrating Curls shampoo& conditioner - not real sure that it's helping.......
: Thanks for any advice.
All the shampoo and conditioner in the world will not tone down the 'frizzies' from blow drying your hair. Turn the heat down, and also the speed! Remove as much moisture from your hair as possible with a towel, dry the hair in sections beginning at the scalp and work toward the ends. Leave a little bit of moisture - don't dry it completely. Apply your styling agent and comb through with a wide tooth comb. Give your head a good shake, and it should look the way you want. Anytime curled hair is blown dry, it will 'go wild' and end up looking frizzy. Excessive heat or high-speed drying will only make matters worse.
