For several years I have noticed the color of my nails changing to a more white, pale color...especially the thumb nails. The half moon at the base of the nail bed is gone and appears red. Again, this starts out worse at the thumb nail and gets better once I get to the pinky on both hands. I also have white blotches on my thumb nails towards the top of the nail.
What is going on??
