: Hi Everyone . . . .I am looking for some help ...
: I had a severe ingrown big toe nail that was removed many years ago. It has not nor will ever grow back.
: Does anyone have any ideas how I can get a fake toe nail put on. I have tried everything. Nothing stays on or looks realistic. I know it sounds silly, but I can't wear open toe shoes and am very self conscious about my foot.
: Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
: Thank you so much.

If there is even the tiniest bit of 'hardened' area left, you just might get an artificial nail to stay put for a while. I had a friend that had one removed, and it left a little indentation that hardened, and I would 'sculpt' a toenail for her on this little 'nub'. It stayed on for about 2-3 months at a time.
