:I am also 25 and have the same problem. Are your stretch marks white or red because I think it's easier to get rid of the red ones. Unfortunately, mine are white. I know that when I do any weight lifting, I notice them. And I've seen alot of weight lifters with them on arms and backs. My friend swears that she got hers from doing alot of high kicks when she was in ballet, but really who knows. I've heard that Retin-A helps and also Cellex-C (some kind of cream, although I've never seen it in the stores.). If it is really bothering you alot, there is some kind of laser that they use, but be careful because that's new and could cause scarring. Good Luck and let me know if you hear anything new because you're not the only one hating these. Oh I almost forgot, I also heard that if you're gaining OR losing weight that you need to keep your skin really moisturized. And, that sometimes when you lose weight, you notice them more because your skin is not as stretched out. Hang in there girl.
I am 25 years old and I hate my skin. I've always had stretch marks on my thighs and breasts since I can remember. I guess I have them due to rapid growth when I was a kid. But my problem now is that its seems like I'm getting more and more every day. I haven't gained weight or lost weight, and I'm not over weight...but in the last 9 months or so I've gotten new stretch marks. I now have them on the back of my calfs and the back of my arms near my armpits. They are not fine lines they are deep and very noticable. I guess what I want to know is... has anyone ever heard of stretch marks being the symptom of anything, or does anyone have the same problem. Someone please respond!!! Thanks for your help!! Brenda
