: : I had this for years ( still happens ) and I am pretty scarred as a result (I had to dig out). Happens only on my face where I shave. Only thing I have heard is AHA exfoliate and there are products if you do a search (ex. tend skin, bump stopper) but I don't think they help. I think my problem has been thick skin and fine hair !
: : Sorry I couldn't be more help, I would love a definite answer.

: : : My husband has ingrown facial hair in a couple
: : : of recurring spots. But instead of one hair
: : : it is under the skin in a cluster of 8 or 10.
: : : Does any one know what the choices of remedies
: : : are for this?
:
: I too have the same problem my face will be fine for a few days and then all of a sudden 3 or 4 bumps appear and then the next day they are infected. I have found the only way is to remove the hair but this leaves a very sore a unsightly spot.
: Has any got any good answers yet?

I have a couple on my neck and occasionally get on my chest. The best remedy that I can find is hot washcloth compresses, a facial scrub and mask, followed up with a product called "Bikini Zone"
