: I'm biracial with hair like that of Scary SPice of the Spice Girls. I decided to flat iron my hair. A few times it burned off, but I thought nothing of it. I've noticed everyday since, that a lot of hair comes out when I comb it in the shower. Does anyone know what products I could use to make my hair stronger? Nothing will repair a 'burn' to the hair shaft, and the damaged hair will continue to break off. Cutting your hair shorter to remove all the damaged portion of the length will keep it from looking bad. You can try a shampoo and conditioner for chemically treated hair -- it will help the appearance, but I'm sorry to say it won't 'repair' the damage. You can compare the hair damage to burning or singing a string or piece of thread -- you can't return it to its original shape or condition.
