Back in the summer my 3 yr old son index finger got caught inthe car door. Everything was fine for a while. Then is nail started growing bumpy. Took him to his dr and he said nail with just fall off. His finger nail was getting worse. Started turning yellowish under nail and red around tip of finger. Went to a dermotoligist the other day. Gave him nail clippings for a culture and he sail it would take a month to get back results. Said not sure what kind of fungus, also he gave me oxistat to put on the nail. This hasnt really help. What else could this be if not a fungus.
