: I dye my hair at home, and every winter it gets so staticy... I use drier sheets and put static gaurd on my brush but nothing helps. Does anyone have any ideas?
Use a 'glosser' to help with 'flyaway hair'. It will calm down the static and add a glossy sheen. Sometimes, the static is in your hair brush which then transferres to your hair. Use a good conditioner after shampooing. The 'glosser' can be used on wet or dry hair, but just a tiny bit. Using more than one or two drops - about the size of 2 little green peas - will make your hair appear 'greasy'.
